Though oldest, Ayurveda is one scientific form of healthcare in the world and this science has a strong background in Indian philosophy. It is called the healing science of India and utilizes the blessings of nature to restore the balance of the body. The very uniqueness of Ayurveda is that it not only helps the body to control diseases, but also teaches us to harmonize our body and mind with the universal laws of nature, thereby removing the very roots of a disease.
Our Ayurveda team is led by our Lead Ayurveda Specialist Dr. Jibin C Manjila, working along with our team of seven therapists who are experienced and trained in traditional Ayurveda treatments, and Kalari massage techniques.
Your Ayurveda treatment program will be under the personal guidance of our Ayurveda Specialists at all stages.
Ayurveda, one of the world’s oldest traditional system of medicine, recognized worldwide lies largely unexplored. This medical science deals with not just curing different ailments but also gives equal emphasis to sustaining the health of an individual. The perfect health according to this school of medicine is defined as “the balance of body, mind, spirit and social well-being”. However the connection of Ayurveda goes far beyond
the individual and extends to the universe.
Ayurveda states that the universe in its entirety is made up of the five elements or ‘PANCHAMAHABHOOTAS’ – Akash (space), Vayu (air), Agni (fire), Jala (water) and Prithvi (earth). These elements combine to form the functional unit of our body, the three humors TRIDOSHAS namely Vatha, Pitha and Kapha. The main aim of Ayurveda treatments is to maintain the balance between these three dosas in an individual to retain health through the different therapies, medicines, diet and yoga.
Shamana treatment basically includes diet modification; recommendations, internal medications and certain therapies that aid in bringing the doshas back to balance.
Sustenance of a healthy body is as important as, if not, more important than curing of diseases. At our resort with traditional Ayurveda treatments we emphasize on guiding our guests towards a healthy lifestyle in today’s busy world through Yoga, Diet recommendations, Therapies and Regimens that can be followed daily as well as seasonally.
At Park Am See, Our Ayurveda doctors conduct a detailed initial consultation along with an in-depth examination, looking into an individual’s health complications and the imbalance of doshas. This is followed by charting of a customized treatment program including the procedures, Panchakarma therapies, Medicines, Diet and Yoga, tailored to each individual’s need and health conditions.
